New Master of the lodge

On Monday 16th October 2023, Calvin Everdell was installed as the new Worshipful Master of the Lodge. It was an excellent evening of ritual and festivities for all of the Lodge members, and the culmination of many years of contribution, dedication and effort from Calvin. 

Everyone at the Lodge is looking forward to the forthcoming year with Worshipful Brother Everdell presiding over its rituals and ceremonies, and to many social occasions together with friends and family alike.

Initiation of a new brother

Family ties

In September 2023 our "Master Elect", Calvin Everdell, visited Ailwyn Lodge, Number 3535, in Cambridgeshire.

The occasion was the initiation of his brother, Darrell Preston, into Freemasonry. Calvin, Darrell and the Worshipful Master, W Bro Mark Coverdale, are pictured on the right.


Darrell is wearing the most treasured badge of a Freemason, symbolising that bond of friendship that extends throughout all of Freemasonry. And after the ceremony, a fantastic four course meal and a bar run by the Members of Ailwyn Lodge was enjoyed by all !
